We are very excited to introduce The Owl Foundation's very first
OwlWatch! Our webcam is focused on our wonderful surrogate mother Big
Red, a Great Horned Owl. Big Red is an extremely dedicated foster Mom
who lost her mate Cicero to throat cancer several years ago. She continues
to lay eggs and incubate them in the hopes of having babies. Without fail,
The Owl Foundation receives orphaned Great Horned Owl chicks each spring
season and Big Red is more than happy to welcome them into her nest for
a little TLC. It's a win-win situation all around.
